About us

Dr. Freddy D. Tita-Nwa National President, BOBA USA

BOBA stands for Bali Old Boys Association (BOBA USA), which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by alumni of Cameroon Protestant College (CPC), a secondary and high school in Bali, in the North-West region of Cameroon.

As an organization, BOBA USA focuses on supporting our alma mater via development projects, providing scholarships to current students, and serving as a social network (mentor and mentee) for past students living in the United States. Our vision is to empower ourselves through networking, mentorship, and education while supporting one another in times of need.

BOBA USA currently has five chapters: BOBA Washington DC, BOBA Oklahoma, BOBA Minnesota, BOBA Georgia, BOBA Houston, and BOBA Dallas. Each year, the chapters and BOBANs nationwide meet at a National Convention to network, set goals for the upcoming year, and raise funds to support our projects.

BOBA USA has successfully raised funds for the construction of the O’Neil Library, equipping the library with books and computers through The O’Neil Library Equipment Campaign (TONLEC), and renovation of wash houses in the school. To date, BOBA USA has awarded more than $24,000 in scholarships to deserving students in CPC Bali.

BOBA USA is currently raising funds for the CPC Cyber Project, with the purpose of connecting the Internet to the CPC campus, digitizing records in the college, and implementing and promoting Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs.
